Laminates for Matica ILM-DS and Matica ILM-LS Lamination Module

To use the ILM-DS or ILM-LS laminator, you need a suitable re-transfer card printer of the XID series. The laminator module can easily be installed later. The connection between card printer and laminator is done via infrared interface. First the plastic card is printed with your Matica card printer and then automatically forwarded to the laminator and finished there.
 

Matica offers different laminates. The patches are slightly stronger (0.1 mil), the laminates are slightly thinner (0.6 mil). On request, these laminates and patches are also available with a watermark. For large companies or government agencies, a custom design can be integrated into the laminates on request.
 

The laminates and patches are not only used for enhanced security, but also increase the lifetime of your cards. Depending on the chosen laminate and the stress on the card, this can be up to 10 years.
 

The Matica ILM-DS Laminator can laminate and protect both sides of the card, while the Matica ILM-LS is designed for single-sided lamination.
